For all of you who want the analytical side of it all – this is the science page!
Keep in mind however that the government is not required to do long term testing on anything such as hormones or vaccinations or Genetically Modified material. So the AMOUNT of scientific evidence available is limited. However I encourage you to do what I call a “logic test” when all else fails. Ask yourself – what makes sense to you, look at what the health trends are in the world and the food trends are in the world.
So how does MINERALIZATION actually affect your health? Why should you eat organic vs conventional, why avoid hormones?
Well below are plenty of links to people far more suited to answer this question than myself, I will continue to update this list with the most recent articles.
This article is quite interesting and is a PERFECT example of why we focus on NUTRIENTS – it shows that organically produced foods are no more nutritious than conventionally produced foods. This is true, and in fact sometimes depending on how the farmer farms they can be less nutritious – this is where as a consumer you need to ask questions – how does my farmer farm, how long have they been doing this, and this is why VIBRANT farms mineralizes their crops and makes mineral available for livestock to eat as they please – although organic food is not LESS nutrious than conventionally produced food – the standards to not require them to be MORE nutrious (although you get all the added benefit of being able to digest and USE the nutrition that IS there because there isnt the “garbage” (pesticides and chemicals) in them. The more you know, the healthier you’ll eat!

The Institute for Responsible Technology and Jeffery Smith have come up with some very interesting information on the Genetically Modified Organism movement – these can be VERY harmful to anyones health
He is a wealth of information – please do check it out

Bio-Ag Consultants and Distributors also have done alot of work on developing a mineral package, for the land and animals. They are a great resource and you’ll get more information on all the minerals we feed our animals. They also have a great newsletter that will give you more information than you ever knew existed on this stuff!!!
This is a website by Dr. Paul Clayton he talks about how soils in many areas are naturally depleted in various minerals, there is evidence that over-intensive farming can strip the soil of many key minerals. Plants and animals raised in these areas are therefore depleted in these minerals. UK intakes of the anti-cancer selenium, for example are worryingly low
most people are depleted in most micro-nutrients. But note that depletion is not the same as deficiency.
Deficiency is the absence of a nutrient that causes a deficiency disease, as a deficiency in Vitamin C causes scurvy.
Depletion is a below-optimal level of a nutrient or nutrients which slows a restorative process by a mere one or two percent a year. That is enough to lead, over a period of years, to debilitating or fatal illness.
Drugs cannot remedy this pattern of multiple micro-nutrient depletion leading to illness.
Only by boosting your intake of the nutrients that specifically support regenerative function and the immune system, can you slow down or reverse the process of degeneration.

Weston A. Price foundation is committed to providing and finding nutrient dense foods – they have plenty of research and news articles on why this is not only beneficial but necessary to ones health and well-being.
Another great website is www.wellnesstips.ca/eat.htm this site has links to a great cookbook – a cookbook that also features many studies and scientific research for why they use the ingredients and cooking methods that they suggest. The book – Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallen – you will find this book on the website as well
